When Mark Schmudde took his first backstage tour at Universal Studios Hollywood, he was hooked. He has always had an interest in movies and his behind the scenes visit opened his eyes to a whole new world, so began Mark’s journey into makeup and special effects.

Mark studied at Chicago’s Columbia College and Joe Blasco Make Up Center in Orlando, FL learning everything from clean beauty makeup to full creature suits.

For over a decade and a half, Mr. Schmudde has been working in various capacities within the film and entertainment industry. He has done a lot of paint work on various productions for places, such as Universal Studios Orlando, Disney MGM Studios, Nickelodeon, and Six Flags Great America (in conjunction with Warner Brothers). He has done makeup for a wide variety of productions. Currently, Mark does makeup for weddings, photography, live satellite media tours, corporate videos, commercials, film, and television. He also does injury simulation, as well as, and face and body painting.

Mark’s television credits include E! Entertainment and the reality show “Shut Up and Model.” His feature films credits include: “Time Served,” “No Tomorrow,” “Bruised Orange,” “To Kill a Killer,” “Insanity,” and “The Suitcase.”

Mark has provided corporate makeup for Boeing, Sears, FOX Sports, and Firestone. He enjoys the energy of live shoots. “Working in a live situation puts on a little more pressure, but that is part of the fun,” shares Mark. Whether for a movie, televison, corporate video, or a live satellite feed, Mark is always right on set and ready to jump in when needed.

Already, Mark has been working with The Image Studios for over 3 years. They look forward to many more years together.
